Amy Blair - Chiang Mai, Thailand

Sending Organization – Wycliffe Bibles Translators

blairAmy Blair grew up in Tremont, IL. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a jungle missionary, living in a grass hut and eating bugs. She dreamed of teaching national children how to read and write, but said she would never teach missionary kids in a big city. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute with her elementary education degree, God used many people and circumstances to convince her that she could indeed be a real missionary by doing what she grew to love, teaching missionary kids.

Amy has been teaching 3rd graders at Grace International School ( in Chiang Mai, Thailand, since 2003. Grace serves over 600 students, primarily children of missionaries who are ministering in over 15 countries.

Besides her students, Amy also deeply loves the Thai people who live in and around Chiang Mai. She has been able to learn the Thai language so she can build many relationships with them by shopping at the local markets, hanging out with them, planting and harvesting rice in villages, and living with Thais from time to time. Her heart’s desire is that all Thais will soon have their eyes opened to the truth and turn their hearts to Jesus.

Brent & Connie Gregory - Tremont, IL

gregoryBrent and Connie Gregory, along with their sons Micah and David, served 10 years in northern Brazil with Project AmaZon (PAZ). PAZ is a nationally-lead church planting movement with a focus on the tens of thousands of unreached villages in the Amazon basin. All the Gregorys were involved in winning Brazilians to Christ and raising them up in their faith through the PAZ ministry model of small groups and one-to-one discipleship. Brent and Connie also provided administrative support at PAZ headquarters, serving, among other areas, in personnel management and missionary care. They developed a passion for missionary care and a call to move into that area of ministry.

In November of 2014, Brent, Connie, and David moved back to the United States, followed later by Micah and his wife Lidiane. In 2015 Brent and Connie completed an internship in missionary care at Heartstream Resources. They have settled back in Tremont and renewed their membership at Northfield Christian Fellowship. They serve their church as Pastoral Care Providers for Missionaries. They also serve the missionary community at large and provide member care for their agency, the Gateway Center for World Mission.
