Brady Zimmer

Youth Director
PictureBrady serves the youth at Northfield Christian Fellowship. This role includes Wednesday night Youth Group and The Cabin on Saturday night. He started as the Youth Director in March 2016.

Brady and his wife, Elizabeth, were married in June 2015. Brady and Elizabeth both originate from Central Illinois. They met at Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated in May of 2014. At IWU, Brady served alongside other students in a campus ministry called DRL (Death, Resurrection, Life). Upon graduation from IWU, Brady served youth in Delavan, Illinois and was a part of a local mission’s team focusing on Goofy Ridge, Illinois. Brady is passionate about missions and equipping and mobilizing the body of Christ to do what we were created to do.

Northfield's High School Youth Group is a discipleship community which meets on Wednesday nights at NCF. There are volunteer leaders who help serve the youth as God grows them into disciples of Jesus Christ, primarily through small group interaction. With their help, God's grace, and the power of the Holy Spirit we seek to help them grow in these five areas: worship, instruction, fellowship, evangelism, and service.

The Cabin is Northfield's weekly outreach to the teenagers of Tremont and surrounding communities meeting on Saturday nights at the Cabin (located on Route 9 east of town). Here, student volunteers minister to their peers, along with some adults volunteering with the purpose of focusing on the five areas above. This produces a product where the Gospel is held high in a short but pointed message, some interactive games, and worship through music.
